This product, together with my StrongVPN account has allowed me and my family to remain in contact with friends and relatives, while delivering that sense of privacy you feel you loose when "surfing" in China. A great value is the ability to use this AP and it's LAN ports to hook other PCs, phones, NAS and others. I still need to see if I can set it up in a WBS array with other APs to extend coverage in the house. The new Sabai OS firmware is very easy to setup. Ruth Petty at Sabai connected remotely to install it and it has been running beautifully. Don't hesitate on getting this product.

I'm in awe at the skill and dedication to customer experience at Sabai. I've faced some perplexing problems (is it my router? is it my ISP's shaping? etc) and Ruth has attacked it remotely for hours on end with true dedication/professional pride. Even as someone who already experience flashing DD-WRT and using OpenVPN myself, I'm extremely impressed at the persistence shown combined with the fact Ruth seems to know every trick in the book. I recommend anyone needing such a service to not think twice about DIY and instead get a Sabai router.

Live in the Middle East and just upgraded to the new firmware (in-house version) and it works awesome!! Highly recommended for those looking to get around the local fire-walls.
The tech support has been great and well worth the package price you pay when you purchase the preloaded router from Sabai.

Orderd the product on 07/15/2011. Shipped the same day.. Got everything up and running on the evening of 07/17/2011, and where? in the Middle East.

A few comments:
1) ordered overnight FedEx on Monday - received router Tuesday - thanks!
2) I read the docs first (I know..) and even though I'm not a communications guy I had it up and running in 15-20 minutes or so
3) it's a complete no-brainer
4) it's plug-n-play simple
5) stop reading this review and just buy it!
