If you already own a compatible router and would like to upgrade the firmware to Sabai OS yourself, Sabai Passport is for you. This digital product includes one Sabai OS license and instructions for flashing your router at home. It is a great way to save money if you are comfortable with the risks and the DIY nature of the process.

Why Sabai OS:

We offer a simple, stable, and secure way to use your VPN service at the router level. But flashing third-party firmware on your own router can carry risk. Choosing the wrong image, experiencing interruptions during the flash, or using unsupported hardware can result in a non-functional router (also known as bricking). If you are not comfortable with this, we recommend purchasing a pre-flashed router directly from us.

Compatibility:

While Sabai OS may work on other models, these are the only routers we currently recommend. This list reflects the models our customers have had the most success with. If your router is not listed below, do not proceed.

Sabai Passport is currently only available for the following compatible router models:

• Linksys E2000 (v3)
• Netgear WNR3500L (v2 only)
• Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 R7000 (not R7000P)
• Netgear Nighthawk X6 AC3200 R8000 (not hardware X6S, not R8000P)

Delivery:

This is a digital product. This is not an instant download. You will receive your Sabai OS download link and installation instructions by email once your order has been processed.

Please Note:

• This product is non-refundable once issued
• You are purchasing at your own risk. We do not guarantee compatibility unless the router is purchased directly from Sabai Technology
• After flashing, you must email us to request your activation token. This process is not automatic, but we respond as soon as possible
• We do not offer remote support for the flashing process
• If you would like assistance, including help with router configuration or VPN setup after flashing, please add Sabai Technical Support to your order
• Sabai OS is not guaranteed to work in all countries. It is not recommended for use in China and may not function reliably there. There may be other regions where activation or VPN performance may be limited due to local restrictions
• We do not guarantee performance or VPN speed under any circumstances
