The VPN Accelerator is a dedicated VPN appliance that handles VPN processing separately from your mesh Wi-Fi system. Instead of relying on the Deco hardware to process VPN encryption, the VPN Accelerator establishes and manages the VPN connection before traffic reaches your mesh network.

This allows devices connected through the Deco mesh to use the VPN connection while the mesh system remains focused on Wi-Fi coverage and local network management.
