In Loving Memory of Ruth Petty

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved friend and longtime Sabai Technology team member, Ruth Petty.

Ruth was Sabai Technology's very first employee, joining us in 2010. For the next 16 years, she became such an important part of Sabai that it is difficult to imagine this company without her.

If you ever had the privilege of speaking with Ruth, you probably already understand why.

Over the years, Ruth helped countless customers with routers, VPNs, computers, and just about every technical problem imaginable. But with Ruth, it was never simply about fixing a problem or closing a support ticket.

She cared about people.

Ruth had an incredible ability to turn a technical support call into a conversation and, often, a conversation into a friendship. She remembered names. She remembered families. She remembered where people lived and the stories they had shared with her. Customers who hadn't spoken with her in years were still people she remembered and cared about.

Many of those customers became far more than customers to Ruth, and we know from the messages we have received that Ruth became far more than a technical support representative to many of them as well.

That was simply who Ruth was.

She was kind, funny, patient, incredibly strong, and always willing to help someone who needed her. She brought those qualities to Sabai every day, and so much of what Sabai became over the years carries a piece of Ruth with it.

We are deeply grateful for every year we were given with Ruth. We are grateful for everything she gave to Sabai, for every customer she helped, every problem she solved, every laugh she gave us, and most importantly, for the friendship and love she gave so freely.
